Pop Links: Anna Sui and Target, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sarah Jessica Parker's twins

Hi! I've haven't been online because there is something going nutty with the MAC! I have no idea why but luckily, it's working for me today. The in-laws are also visiting me from England so I've been busy! For now here are some pop links:

Anna Sui designs clothes for Target - NY Mag

Elisabeth Hasselbeck launches NFL maternity shirts - FAMEbaby

Saving the Cat Skip Hop Zoo Pack for my daughter - Mogul Baby

Here's Marion and Tabitha, Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick's twins!

Spaces for kids

A family had architects design their kids rooms. The older child sleeps on the top level and the baby sleeps on the bottom. Errr...arent' there a lot of sharp edges?
Photobucket
Wouldn't the books fall on the baby?
Photobucket
Maybe I am looking too much into this? I guess if you have a small space this is what you have to do but with all that money in paying architects, shouldn't they have moved into a bigger home?

Vogue Italia depicts rich moms as selfish bitches

Vogue Italia's spread of a model drinking, smoking and basically ignoring her children struck a chord with me. Who hasn't had these taboo thoughts go in their head during times of tantrums and general stress?

I like the chair she's laying on!

Today I'll be personal

Hi! It's been awhile since I've been personal on this blog. I've been following Martha Stewart on Twitter and thinking about what colors to paint our living room. Let me update you!

1. My in-laws from England are coming next week for a visit! The phone call didn't say, "Oh...we'll be coming in August." It was "Oh we're coming next week!" It should be a fun time. Think Bridget Jones Diary meets Real Housewives kind of deal (wait, not crazy like the Real Housewives of NJ though!

2. I am involved in a very exciting project: The launch of a new shopping events site called bTrendie. Their focus is directed for moms who want the best deals on kids, moms and baby products. Since I'm on the advisory board I want give you a special invite to check out bTrendie. Enter the code MOGUL and you'll see what I'm talking about. Hopefully, you'll sign up to be a member and save some moolah (Even moguls need to save money these days!)

3. A recent photo booth pic of my daughter. She is now 8-months-old, crawling and has two teeth!

Stella McCartney and Baby Gap team up

Photobucket
Your kids can be wearing a Stella McCartney by end of the year! The designer is doing a collection for Baby Gap and Gap Kids.

"For years now I've wanted to create a collection for kids, it's something I've often been asked about," McCartney revealed.

"I believe that kids clothing should be more accessibly priced, which is particularly important at the moment given the current climate," the designer said. "It's really exciting for us to do a boys and girls collection for the first time."

Interesting to see what these clothes will look like. Will there be strapless dresses and silver pants for boys?

Forget teething rings, babies can chew on Plush Sweet Meats

Photobucket
We don't cook meat and poultry in our house so probably wouldn't have these plush toys from Sweet Meats in our house. Yeah, nothing is more cuter than a baby chewing on a crafty piece of pork chop! Shown here: Stuff Boeuf (have no idea what that is!), Porky Chop, and Hambone. Would you buy this? Cute or eww?

Real Estate between A-Listers and C-Listers

There's no contest. I (as well as you) would rather stay in Brad and Angelina's estate on Long Island instead of Jon and Kate Gosselin's old dumpy house in Pennsylvania.
Photobucket
Price: $12,800,000. The estate, called Rosehearty, is 10,000 square feet, has 11 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a heated and air conditioned guest pool house/cottage, a beach cabana on the 260-foot stretch of private beach facing the lapping shore of Oyster Bay Harbor, swimming pool, tennis court, extensive gardens and rolling lawns.

Price: $325,000. Listed on the market for 89 days. Has 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

I placed the Gosselins as C-Listers because they get way more press coverage than Kathy Griffin.

This baby gear I don't need

Photobucket
If your spouse is in a rock band and you want to take the kids to the concert, how about getting them a kiddy headset? One of the companies that sells them is Baby Banz and claims to get these for the following purposes:

1. helping out to mow the yard
2. going to sporting events
3. water skiing, boating or other water sports
4. music concerts
5. watching shooting or gun competitions
6. calming young children in noisy environments

Ok first of all, I wouldn't take my 3-year-old to a shooting activity. Second, you mean I can't steal the headsets from the computers at the library?

The list also makes me feel lazy! I don't go to sporting events or go water skiiing. Man, is blogging taking THAT much of my time? It's worth it if I'm giving away a fabulous terry cloth hooded towel for kids !

Lady Gaga goes shopping in L.A.

Are you a Lady Gaga fan? She seems to be everywhere lately! Watch a video of her promoting her fashion style. I really don't like her Keith Haring (he went to my school) jacket though.

MTV Movie Awards and pop links

Here's Madonna with no make-up with Marc Jacobs at a polo in NYC. Kate Hudson was there but hid from her because she's now banging A-Rod.
Photobucket

Reading this made me laugh this morning:

"Kate Gosselin went to the beach and built tiny castles in the sand all by her own self because Jon can't stand her and was probably at Hooters flirting with the hostess or something."
(I know...aren't we all sick of Jon & Kate already?)

As a former intern at MTV, I had to watch the MTV Movie Awards last night. When I saw Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester's outfit, I thought for a quick second that it was cool.
Photobucket
Then I saw the back! What happened? Did she have a fight with another actress over the dress and some of it tore off her butt area?
Photobucket

As for Bruno swinging his butt at Eminem, I think it was definitely a set up! What do you think?
