Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop is My Oop!
Gwyneth Paltrow has launched her own lifestyle web site called Goop. So far it's in its fetal stage so have no idea what Goop is going to be like. But dear people, I found a way to entertain myself this morning by doing a parody.
An excerpt from her home page:
"Make your life good. Invest in what's real. Cook a meal for someone you love. Pause before reacting. Clean out your space. Read something beautiful. Treat yourself to something. Go to a city you've never been to. Learn something new. Don't be lazy. Workout and stick with it. GOOP. Make it great."
Now here is my version!
Oop means...is your life any good? Invest in what's real, like good fruit and vegetables at the supermarket. Cook a meal for someone you love, and if they don't like it tell them you'll never cook for them again (meaning husband that made joke last night and said, "where did you get that recipe from? howtogetyourhusbandtoleaveyou.com?) Pause before reacting. Clean out his eating space and stick out tongue. Read something beautiful (or trashy gossip sites). Treat yourself to something. Go to a city you've never been to, but don't buy those silly souvenir fridge magnets. Learn something new. Don't be lazy. Workout and stick with it. Then eat ice cream as much as you want at night. OOP. Make it great, or just procrastinate and shove it in the closet (like my sad attempt at scrap booking.)
