Heath Ledger's apartment already rented!
It didn't take long for someone to snap up the SOHO loft that Heath Ledger rented on 421 Broome Street. According to NYmag.com, Corcoran had put it on the market for $3000 more a month than the late actor.
Real estate is hot in New York so it really doesn't surprise me. But would YOU really want to live there? I guess with every apartment or home you move into, most likely someone died in there at one time, but not someone famous.
Let me tell you this quick story: Years ago I was visiting my friend in Hell's Kitchen (the West 40's of Manhattan) and while we were hanging out in the back part of the railroad apartment, we heard footsteps walking around in the kitchen. IT WAS PITCH BLACK!! My skin crawled. My friend joked "It's a big mouse." It turned out that right before my brazen buddy moved in, he found out that TWO people at separate times had hung themselves over the bathtub in the kitchen!! But he didn't care and he still wanted to live there. The place took the name HELL'S KITCHEN to a whole new level!
I personally would not want to live where Heath died. It would be too eerie!
